Antivirus?

In your opinion what is the best antivirusprogram for XP? Giver me an recommandation..........

F-Prot is a very good antivirus program www.f-prot.com

i somtimes go here for a online scan www.housecall.antivirus.com it finds things that norton and mcafee cant find. its free and you dont have to register

 

i use AVG. http://www.grisoft.com

 

I use AVG too, but I hate the frequency in which they release virus definitions. If you have the memory, use avast (with everything enabled, it easily takes up 40MB of memory -__-)

 

I shouldn't of said it that way.....What I meant was that sometimes AVG doesn't have a update in a weeks or so, while AntiVir has about 4 updates during the same time span. Just now AVG released 2 definitions in 2 days. I guess they only look for the real threats

 

Just wanna let everyone know that AVG saved my a$$ last night. It was the Worm/Sddrop virus only found in Kazaa. I lost a 200MB download, but at least it didn't destroy my computer
