    Hi

Difficult as all anxiety is different per person, General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) can be particularly difficult as anything and everything can be a trigger, but try reading the below

    https://www.anxietyuk.org.uk/blog/living-someone-anxiety-tips-helping-live/
    https://www.rd.com/health/conditions/living-with-anxiety/
    https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/publications/living-with-anxiety (downloadble booklet)
    https://medlineplus.gov/magazine/issues/summer15/articles/summer15pg4-5.html

Been through it and know its difficult, so if you can get the person t seek medical help, they could be a great first step. Plus while you may wish to get angry at the small things you may not find an issue, for somome with GAD it will be, so keep calm to reduce the risk of inflaming the issue more.

Try a new activity like getting outside and into nature. Try just turning up with an picnic and binocular, camera or magnifying glass packed and say 'let's go now'; don't give any warning beforehand, they might initially say 'yes' but by the time you get there...

Be supportive, listen... and go through the articles David linked.

Watch out for signs of depression, they often occur together.

Anxiety disorder can be difficult to control.Especially if little kids have it with a another disability like aspergers and autism.

I personally have had a higher forum of aspergers for most of my life.I can think and talk like a normal person just a little disability.

Some people that have these type of disabilities have to take some kinda medication now.Due to some can't speak and can't let others know whats wrong.

I have driven school bus's for the last 5 years and have had to deal with these types of behavior in kids. Some times it could even worsen when they get older.

Great suggestions from our MGs here...it's always nice to know there is a support person there for you...and getting out partly close to Mother Nature whether by the water, forests or mountains is always rejuvenating...particularly if away from people and able to absorb the sounds of nature around you:)

If you're the friend of someone suffering anxiety, the first step is already covered and kudos to you!
