Any freeware to zip files up?

I thought winzip was free? Is there another program that does the same thing for free?

Winzip is free to download. You are downloading the evaluation version but it is not on a trial basis. You can download it from www.winzip.com and there are two links to choose from - I like the classic download myself and have never had a problem - good luck

PS I use it @ work & home and have attaches to email easily.

 

I love Winrar for everything but zips, I use the zip folders that come with xp, but to compress anything i use winrar, mainly because of the context menus, heh, that and work paid for it.

I used to use filzip, witch is a very good program and best of all it's free. I think filzip is better then winzip, but hey I never liked winzip anyway. -http://www.filzip.com/-

 

Would there be any conflict using or loading more than one zip program on any PC.
I curently use winzip but maybe try these suggested above,

It's not a problem you just have to set the witch program you want to open what and if you don't want it to open anything.
