Any Gaming nerds ( or any really ) got a 320mb 8800 GTS

I was just looking for an hands on reveiw of the graphics card, and how it handles under pressure of newer games. I was looking for the opinion of fellow MGers.

Name specific games if you can.

And no problem with the rest of the hardware. 2gb or ram and quad core CPU.

Hi

I have a 8800GTS 640MB and card works great with Shadowrun, Call of Duty 4 ( only played demo ).. not a massive gamer of late, but at present downloading demo of Crysis, so that should test my PC and the GFX card a touch.

What OS you going to be running this under, if Vista then the Nvidia drivers are only just starting to come right, buggy as hell in the early days.... dont know what they are like under XP as I dont run XP now.

You may notice the temps in the 50-60c's range so dont be alarmed as its normal, but wouldnt want them to go too much higher, so a a large card its wise to have if your case allows a front fan blowing directly through the HD bays or front into the area of the card and keep all cables away from it to max airflow.

the 8800gt's came out this week (512meg ram) $269-$299 USD they perform between gts and gtx levels. Have played with a 320m 8800gts in a friends pc playing americas army and the crysis demo is awesome on it(even if the demo is kinda short) also played painkiller overdose without problems

P.S. also played bioshock on it and the graphics were awesome

I have the 8800 gts 640 and have been able to run any game I have played @ 1680x1050 and full detail w/ pretty much no problems. i.e. New unreal demo, Phantasy Star Universe, Hellgate London, etc.
