Any idea why my mic doesn't work

I picked up CS: Source for the first time in a long time last night, and attempted to use the voice comms. Well, with my onboard Realtek 97 audio, the sound works and the mic works (even though I get an error message when I go into the control panel saying to update the driver because it isnt for Windows Vista). When I disable the onboard sound and use my Audigy 7.1, the sound works but the mic doesn't. It doesn't work in Windows or in the game. If I leave both enabled the mic works in Windows but I guess the game defaults to the Audigy.

Any suggestions?
