Any program like GO BACK around?

For years I used GO BACK which existed before System Restore and was much more powerful. It reserved about 10-15% of your hard drive and kept a running image or your hard drive and chronological record of every action peformed on or by your system - and I mean every action down to the smallest detail - which you could access going back several days to a week at any time down to the second and literally restore your entire hard drive to a precise time or the time of a precise action without having to ever rely on a manually set restore point. It worked perfectly for me for years for everything from viruses, to faulty installs and program conflicts, to good old human error. But the small company in Minnesota that made it was sold to Roxio and then to Symantec and then the program was discontinued around the time XP was released. it was so much better and more reliable than System Restore and also had a file recovery feature that worked very well also. I don't see why a similar program can't still exist but my searches never turn up anything that sounds like the same program. Anyone have any experience to share on this? Thanks. First time post.

 

Rollback Rx seems quite similar to what you describe.
