I have been looking into using Ghostwall on some clients machines. Because it is a firewall which you can configure not to bombard you with requests to allow/block programs it seems like a good choice.

Anybody around here used it and can say if its good or bad?

I'd never heard of it until your post so can't personally comment on the program. But if you do a Google search you'll find a good deal of information and comments, mostly positive.

Heres the link from there offical site:

GhostWall seems like a reasonable free firewall, the only con about it that it doesnt have application filtering...I would try it out first on your computer before recommending it :)
