ok, well, you cant physically delete programs for other people, but you can a)remove them from their start menu.

You can do this by logging into their username, and going to c:/documents and settings/Kids/start menu and deleting the folders you dont want them to access.

unfortunatley, its not quite this simple. Some programs put their folders in the All Users start menu (which any user can get to) to restrict a program to be run by only one username, you need to move them from the All Users/start menu to the Administrator/start menu and then only Administrator can get to the short cut.

    Good enough?

Since you are using WinXP Pro and using NTFS then you can use Access Control List (ACL) to specify who should have access to what.

Right click a folder containing the program you want to keep for yourself and select properties.
    Select the Security-tab
Specify the access the different accounts should have to the folder. (This will setup the ACL)
    Press Ok when finished

As Administrator you can't lock yourself out from setting up ACL, but you can lock yourself out of a folder which will require you to change the rights.

Not sure if one have to disable simple filesharing in WinXp to use ACL.
