Any Way To Export A Large Excel Workbook File In Pdf Format As A Large, Single Sheet?

I have a large Excel Workbook (*.xlsx) file. This file is quite large — not in number of bytes, but in area. The schematic diagram it depicts is 32-7/12" high by 182" wide.

I want to share this file with others. I can export it as one large image file, which in a number of image-viewing apps could be panned across, and zoomed in on in selected areas.

But it would be easier to navigate this diagram in pdf format, because Acrobat Reader allows the user to pan and zoom at once, with more precise control over zooming.

But exporting it to pdf splits the diagram into separate sheets for printing. And even at the largest paper size Excel supports — legal (8-1/2"×14", in landscape orientation) — this produces 51 sheets. Which makes it virtually impossible to navigate the diagram as a whole in any kind of comprehensible manner.

So does anyone know if there is any way to export this Excel file in pdf format as a large, single sheet?

And for that matter, does Acrobat Reader (or any other pdf reader) even support such large sheets?

You can "print to PDF", which allows you to adjust print size to fit onto one page - letter, legal, etc. - as you define. Of course, the PDF reader will have to expand the page pretty massively - with lots of scrolling up and down and left to right to read your diagram.
