Anybody Else Having Problems With Malwarebytes

Yesterday, I updated Malwarebytes. Afterwards I had the following issues.

When the Malwarebytes desktop was open my Taskbar couldn't be seen.

I couldn't minimise Malwarebytes' desktop.

When I used it, it was crashing or freezing.

I couldn't do anything else with my PC whilst Malwarebytes was open.

I googled if there was a known MB problem and Google AI said many people were reporting the issue. It recommended I downloaded MB Support Tool to uninstall MB and do a clean re-install. I have done that but I am still having the same problem.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a fix to this issue?

It is persists I am going to uninstall it. I don't use MB for live protection but to either scan something for malware or to do an occasional malware scan of my PC. If I unintall it, are there any recommendations for an alternative?

I use MBAM Pro with a lifetime license. Unfortunately, because I'm using Windows 7, I can no longer update it so I can't help troubleshoot your problem.

I wouldn't trust AI overviews -- they lie a lot.

I'm on a Windows 10 box now and had no problems. My 11 box is 23h2 and that had no issues as well. This is the free version - no browser guard.

My first thought is that you have another antivirus / antimalware app running. MBAM plays OK with the defender, but not a lot of other security apps.
I'd like to know if someone with 25h2is is having issues.
