I know a lot of people probably won't have this card, but... who knows.

hint for those that may not know... posting your e-mail addy on a public forum can be a major no-no. Spammers/Scammers like to have bots out scannin' through pages for e-mail addies, and that is an EASY way to get tons of unwanted e-mail fast.

did some testing. mine would run @ 475/1400 (default 400/1200 its a BFG OC card), but I don't like to run maxed so I backed it down to 450/1300.
    get 12400 in 03 in 6200 in 05 with a Barton @ 2.3 ghz.

overall i am pleased, nice upgrade from my old 6600gt.

you can get a 7800gs witch is a AGP version of the 7800 with 16 pixel processors and 6 vertex processors, vs. 20 and 7 for the 7800gt, for about
$300. I paid a little more to get a BFG OC card witch comes already overclocked with a better heatsink, and a lifetime warranty (among other things). The 7800gs is currently the fastest AGP card you can buy. But I have read that the 7900gs is coming out, (or maybe it already has?)

    here's a good review:

ATiTool is often un-reliable. Use ATi Tray Tools, the artifact scanning is alot better as well.

I own a 7800gs(BFG) I leave my settings a little under my max,BUT my max on this card was 515Mhz(core) 1.55Ghz(memory) i wouldnt attempt these speeds without some good cooling solution,if yer using the same heatsink and fan that BFG supplied,i wouldnt go past450Mhz Core and 1.3Ghz memory...

P.S. 7900GS Will never happen(if it does that id be surprised) theres a reason the higher end AGP cards are so pricey when you can get a much better PCI-E card cheaper than a run down AGP version..i believe its a Phase out to force us into the future technology..I still own AGP and hate to see this happening.BUT its going to happen and there nothing we can do about it,we're at the mercy of the Video Card Gods..damn them, damn them all...IM OUT!!

well I just started over clocking mine (BFG 7800GS OC AGP) last night. It was late so I didn't max it out yet but the last try it was running 455/1350 stable.

I'm using coolbits to over clock it.

I'm going to see what the max is tonight.
