Anyone else have this problem?

My production has fallen off considerably the last week or so (from 250+/day to <200/day) because my two machines that are the most productive take forever to d/l a new WU. I will look at the log and see 14 or 15 hours of idle time where the service was unable to connect to recieve a new WU.

I know that some server lag is to be expected, but it is just these two machines that I see it on and it has happened with every WU for a week or so.

If I notice it and reboot the machine, it seems to pick up a new WU in less than an hour.

    Any suggestions or comments?

What client are you using, command line? Is it running as a service? Could you post an excerpt from the log file for us to look at?

I am running the text-only client running as a service. Here is the message I get... it goes on for hours before finding a new WU.

Have been reading Stanford's folding forum and they are having some server problems. possibly a firewall problem on your end?

I run zone alarm, and I have permissions set so that the F@H client has access to the internet without having to ask.
