It is not windows time service. When I try to disable it from running it pops up a window saying access is denied. It appears to have the same text as the help and support service. No dependancies is listed for it. Says it is a legacy driver in the registry.

    service reg_sz lidna

    Anyone know anything about this?

You didn't explain the situation very clearly.... so you're saying this "mystery" service is not the "Windows Time" service (see screen shot below). You say it's named "Time Windows"? Odd. And what's with "service reg_sz lidna"? If you could please explain the problem a bit more clearly, or maybe post a screen shot or something, it would be very helpful....

I haven't seen this service before. I don't trust it because of the duplicated text.
