anyone geocache?

Got a Garmin Etrex Legend for Christmas and am interested in geocaching. Just wanted to know if anyone else here does this hobby?

 

my brother does it a lot, i've done it once. its pretty cool.

 

Have had our Garmin Legend for several years now and dont do as much geocaching as I would like, We have had a lot of fun with it. There are lots of caches here in Illinois and there are several clubs. Here is a list of some of my favorite websites:

http://www.cigacache.org/ This one is a central Illinois site.

http://www.offroute.com/index.asp?ref=E041118 this is a good site to buy more geocacheing stuff.

http://navicache.com/ Good explanation about geocaching.

http://www.waypoint.org/ Lots of coordinates for all kinds of stuff

http://www.geocaching.com/mark/ locations of survey markers.

P.S. the more you use your GPS the more it will amaze you with what it can do!!!!

Martin, where in Illinois are you at? I live in a small town next to Bloomington/Normal. If you are not too far away perhaps we could meet up and jump into the "wide world of geocaching"? LOL. Hope to hear from you soon!!
