Anyone know how to bypass a ignition?

i have a 1986 Honda 125M ATC i had it sense it was new. i lost the key to it about ayear ago and i been useing a fake key on it now that key is gone. i have not run the motor on in for about a month now because of this. i was wondering if someone knew what wires i cross on it so i could use its starter button. on it to start it up. below is the list of its ignition switch wires.


Ground Always hot unknown and unknown
Black Black with white stripe Red Green


if its not safe to post it here in fear of someone going out and trying to steal a ATV \ ATC and such please just PM me how

 

If you want to save some money, take out the Passengers side door lock and go to your local locksmith it runs about 25.00 at my shop to make the key and on that car it would fit all locks (unless some one has changed something) I stress passenger side as it gets used less and you will get a better working key. As for calling the dealer that also works well but only for 10 years after production date.

haha that just makes me laugh its not a car lol its a classic Honda 125M 3-wheeler (them things like a 4-wheeler but with only 3 wheels)

thanks sibeer thats what i needed it came alittle late because i took apart the whole key switch and just turned the bottom to line up with the on spot and put in a keyless switch on to one of the wires so i can turn it off and on.

 

I guess I was more tired than I Thought The ATV should have gave me a clue, Glad you got it though!

 

does it not have the pull cord on the engine to start it up? if it does you could use it until you could get a key, but i doubt it does cause everything has to be complicated. LOL

 

the key has to be turned to start it useing the pull rope. and if i did not bypass it i would not of been able to use the lights.

technically he cant go jail for bypassing the ignition on his own car, now if it was another car thats a totally different story.

 

Nick just so you know its My 3-wheeler i OWN it so dont tell me i would get sent to jail for something i did to my own stuff.
BTW all i did to bypass it was pull apart the ignition and line it up with the ON spot thin put in a Temp switch untill i can go and get a key made.

Mods please lock this i dont need it nomore.
