    Hi All,

I downloaded this yesterday so that I can use iTunes songs in XP Media Centre Edition (i.e. so I can take a copy of them as an MP3) and on my Sony MP3 player.

Since it claims to be totally legal, essentially recording a copy of the speaker output to MP3 rather than breaking the DRM I thought it would be useful. I read the licence and didn't see any sign of any malware or spyware being included. Just wanted to ask if there is anyone else here with experience of the software and, if so any security issues I should look out for.

I plan on running a full sweep for spyware etc soon. Suppose I'll know for certain then (new PC, should be fine apart from this that I don't know if I should trust).

Not sure about malware attached to this program but can suggest a program that my kids use. Total Recorder by HighCriteria this works great for them and is cheaper than the one you posted. I searched MajorGeeks for it but it wasn't found so here is their home site.
