Anyone know of a good place to buy MP3s?

We're finally getting our music library set up the way we want, and we're ready to add some songs that we like. Does anyone know of a place with good prices and a good selection? We tried Walmart.com because songs are $.88 each which seemed reasonable, but they're only in wma format, and we'd rather buy mp3 if possible. We googled, but weren't sure of the reputation and reliability of places that we saw. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There's a link that's called aimster its the napster's version of legal music you buy and download and listen.

 

i like itunes alot, all there servers are set up for faster downloads (so they say).

Awesome yea I'll also another person who will recommend itunes. Except well lycos or other companies who are like major comapanies is also another variable ya need to consider if ya want competitive deals <<---- my opinion. .

its $0.01 per MB, and you can encode them however you want. to get english just look in the top left of the home page.

allofmp3 is a whole new bag of worms. In the UK, what they do is illegal, but in russia it isnt, so technically downloading the mp3s in russia is fine, but downloading from russia to the UK is illegal... but at the moment they don't have enough to back up banning it in the UK.

But I'd say its a good idea to take advantage of it

 

I'm just a little leary of giving a russian website my financial information. With all the scams and what not floating around, who can guarantee anything about the security of your data.
