Anyone know where windows xp hides its registry files and GUI skins?

Which registry file?

There are 5.

C:\windows\system32\config

Themes:

C:\windows\resources\themes

 

thanks i mean the whole registry

 

i couldnt find winxps original theme in that folder

 

Classic theme is built into explorer.exe i believe. If a theme goes wrong it defaults to that, even if theres nothing in the themes folder.

 

So did I.

The "whole' registry consists of 5 files:

Security
Sam
Default
System

 

C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna

C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Luna.theme
