Anyone Remember Airwolf?

Sure there are some links out there but in an idle moment I just wondered if anyone still remembers watching airwolf? I was vaguely thinking about buying the DVD but think it might ruin my memories as re-watching Bagpuss did, although the flumps still stand up to scrutiny.

 

Airwolf was the black helicopter wasnt it? Was it someone like Michael J Fox in it? Or am I mixing stuff up? I remember sitting watching something like that with my mum when I was really really little, so excuse me if im wrong.

 

Airwolf rocks, i just bought the first two seasons on dvd, love it. Jan-Michael Vincent actually played string fellow hawke, the main character.

 

Y'all know i just had to say something seeing as thats my fav show. Check out www.airwolf.org i been a member there for afew years now under the same name as here season 3 is coming out next month. i can tell you some things about it some people cant. like the bell 206 (aka Santini Air chopper) is now a news chopper. and the Bell 222 (Aka Airwolf) crashed along time ago in Germany in a bad thunder storm taking a little girl to a hospital (it became a med chopper before it crashed) but a chopper museum had a friend from airwolf.org rebuild it for them out of a old bell 222 (its now on display.)

I dont know, looking at all the episode guides at the website has brought the theme music back to me, and plot flashbacks. I dont reckon buying the DVD will ruin the memories of it. A bit of retro fun. Next stop MacGyver and maybe that strange series with a guy that could shape shift into different animals was it called manimal confused
