I hate the standard Windows Media player, doesnt appeal to me. I've tried Itunes, that was ok, but i need something else. Any suggestions? There doesnt seem to be too many out there.

I always recommend VLC Media Player. It's free, lightweight, has a pretty minimalistic interface without sacrificing features, and plays a wide range of video types. Most codecs are built in. I've only ever seen it fail on exotic Apple filetypes, like the .3g2 files from my phone (but not more common ones like .MOV), but I blame Apple for that. Those don't work anywhere. :-D

There are quite a few others out there, though. If this doesn't fit your requirements, you might try looking in the Multimedia download section.
