Anything similiar to Roxio, free or buy?

I have Roxio 7.5 and had several problems with it. But what I do (did) like about it the features to author/edit the music tracks such fade out, fade in, cross-over in between tracks and listen in realtime. Nero does some of these options but listen in realtime ( I also have Nero 6 ).

If your looking for an program that lets you edit audio recordings on a computer, letting you see the wave forms, put in fading, etc Try audacity..I know they have a freeware/ or shareware one at Filehippo.com I haven't look here yet. I know Creative has one but mine came with my sound blaster as a package...not sure what else may be out there but should be a lot.

DLB, Ok I give up...I see the page you referenced for this freeware, but how do I download the dang thing...I see lots of other stuff there too. How do I download any of it??? :drool:banghead:banghead:crybaby
