anyway to make the desktop icons smaller

hey ppls.i was just wandering if i could make the desktop icons smaller in winxp so i could put more icons on the desktop.i tryed changing the screen rsolution,but it made it to small to view.i have a 19inch moniter.

one more thing,thanks to all the helpful ppls on this forum who have helped me with my computer problems,you guys are better then tech support! THANKS ALOT!!

 

Only place I know is this>

Right click the desktop/properties/appearance. Choose normal size icons.......if it is not already set that way.

 

If using win 98
Right click on the desktop
go to Properties/
go to Apperance/
Under items window shows desktop
open window by clicking on arrow
scroll down to Icon
adjust size and apply

 

Smaller Icons

Programs like WinPowerUp allow you to make thumbnails
of your icons....also there are several programs (freeware)
that may be picked up at CNET Downloads or Just go to
Google...These let you do tons with your Icons...

I made thumbnails of mine with the WinPowerUp XP....
with just setting a preference for them in the program...
