Anyway to run Drakan on vista 64 bit?

I've been wanting to play Drakan, order of the Flame (yeah I know, weird choice) on my computer but it won't run. I looked up the problem and it has to do with Vista 64, I think. If anyone has any idea how to get it to run, it would be nice. I ran it in admin mode, in compatibility mode, i tried installing it in the x86 directory... I just get graphical glitches for the intro and then I get a white screen on the title. I can't make selections or hear anything.

 

Do you have an ATI or nVidia graphics card? Google revealed that nVidia's drivers have difficulties with the game.

This thread details how to put the game in "developer mode" to create a save file from the game's starting point. Apparently you can then start your game and load that save instead of picking "new game". The poster says that will work as well.

That's right! Right now I'm using the on board Nvidia graphics card. I will be installing my ATI tonight, so if it still doesn't work I will check out the info you gave me. Thanks!
