AOL Broadband issues anyone?

In the last 24 hours, our connectivity to the web has gone wonky. I can send/receive email, Skype, IM on MSN, go onto bookmarked sites, go onto this one!, but few others, neither in Mozilla or IE. This is true for all the computers in our household. AOL is our Internet Service Provider.

Hidden in a bottom corner of the AOL help on the technical page is a message saying: "Please be aware of a major network issue affecting AOL Broadband members. Work is on-going to resolve issues as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience."

Do these symptoms sound like they are an ISP problem? Should I wait (im)patiently or is this something at my end I should be trying to fix? :confused

I'm having the same problem. This is one of the very few sites that I can actually get to load.

Can anyone do me a favour and look up the AOL UK customer services telephone number.
If possible, can yuo have a look on the say no to 0870 site and find a normal number.

    Thanks in advance

Ah - fixed now. Pitiful how dependent I am on a constant connection. Perhaps, KingSteve, I was just looking for a fellow sufferer rather than answers. But thanks for your...observation.

Thanks for that. I managed to get onto their site via a proxy site, and send a message.

It seems to be working again now. Fingers crossed it stays that way ;)

I rang them earlier and they are having major problems.
I was told i had to reset my router Username and Password, because of some new connectivity service.
I changed them and it's still playing up:mad
