AOL deletion

Have my new computer, and of course comes with AOL installed.
Did a search and there is 47 files with it in it. Can I manually delete all these, or is there some where else to uninstall it. It does not show up in my add/remove.
Or do I have to leave these files? Do other programs use them? HELP!!!

Yes I'm pretty sure you have to manually delete these files.

Make sure its for aol, and then you can delete it. This is assuming that you dont use aol.

 

No, I don't use it.

Do I have to google each file to see what it is and make sure it is aol?

I know, I am dumb....lol Just don't want to screw anything up

now that you mention those, you may want to run some spyware checks. Just to make sure.

 

They are on the computer waiting to be installed, but I have not done that. Maybe just delete them, too, while I'm at it?
