AOL Desktop 9.7 Build 16.4343.2046

I recently installed the above build of AOL software. Long story short, I don't like it, mostly because of the new "Chromium" Browser, which is just another name for Google Chrome. Does anyone know where I can find a previous build of AOL Desktop 9.7? Unfortunately for me, I uninstalled the previous version/build I was using and could not get it back, even after running a System Restore. I'm using Windows 8.

 

Actually Chromium is an open source version of Google Chrome and does not contain all of the same code in it that Chrome does.

 

Oh I see. I stand corrected. Still don't like it, though!! Thanks for letting me know. I'm pretty good with software, but browsers, not so much!

 

I am not a fan either, mostly because I enjoy the niceties that Chrome provides. But if anyone wants a solid browser that is more private than Chrome, its a decent choice.
