AOL Help

I was told today that deleting aol files can damage window files this pc I'm working on had Aol someone intalled a couple of discs that came thru mail I deleted thru add and remove program but there are still mutitude of aol files I have even deleted some of them too Is there a free program somewhere that will delete all of these files safely

 

this thread seems to be getting lost in the woodwork can someone please tell me how to or if I can remove aol files. have done uninstall with add and remove And I have deleted some extra files as I have found them which I believe created my other problem see : no cmd (another post here from me) from what info I have been able to retrieve is that aol buries itself with window files and when you delete aol files windows files go with it I know everybody has problems and alot more major than this one but when someone has enough time to coach a newbie your time will be appreciated I really enjoy messing with pc's and a pretty fast learner so thanks again

 

dude, my first piece of advice is steer clear of AOHell! lol just kidding i use it too, but iv'e heard that AOL is just a huge virus...so there MUST be another way
