AOL Super Buddies - do you know how to create them ?

    Hi,

    my wife at work just messaged me with one of those AOL super buddy icons.
    Looks like an animated GIF to me, yet, anyone any idea how those are created, programed ?

    Well,l I know where they can be found to set up in AIM but my question was more about the technical side - any takers on what programming language they may use to create them on your own as well because AIM gives you the option to take an Icon from your own harddisk .....and with my creative flows would be interested in creating one myself
