Aol & toolbar & i.e.7

yesterday morning when I turned my pc it told that the AOL files where corrupt and that I reinstall my cd in the drive. The cd deleted AOL 9.1 (my latest version and deleted 9.0, and then reinstalled 9.0. When it was finished, I installed 9.1 (you can only do this from their site). and everything went fine.
I went to open I.E.7 and I got the following message: cannot find file:///C:/program%20files/aol%20toolbar/welcome.html
I would hit ok and the IE would open up, but no hope page, and then the error message would come up gain, and hit ok and then I E would open up.
I have deleted both the toolbar, and 9.1 and 9.0 and reinstalled everything, and the same problem comes up.I have deleted everything that goes with aol and their toolbar. I am running a google toolbar on it too, but I turned it off, and the problem is still there.
IE works fine, i just have to go thru the 2 error messages to get it, no matter how I try to sign on.
