    Hi all.
    I havw a problem accessing my DWL-900AP+.
I have tried to reset it several times but cannot get in.
The power light is on, the WLAN is on and the LAN is on.
192.168.0.50 is the usual default for these but no go.
Are these know for going wrong even though all lights are on?
    Cheers

What does no go mean? It fails to connect with an error? Fro the manual:

"It’s best to use a computer (with an Ethernet adapter) that is connected to a router for
configuring the DWL-900AP+. The default IP address for the DWL-900AP+ is
192.168.0.50 with a Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0. You will need to assign your
computer a Static IP address within the same range as the DWL-900AP+’s IP address
for the purpose of configuration of the DWL-900AP+."

    Thanks for the reply.
I have two of these, one in my loft, so last night I fetched the one that is already configured from my loft.
I plug a ethernet from my laptop to the AP, enter the IP in the URL bar and I can access it so I know I am doing the connection thing right.
The one that I can't access I have tried to reset several times by pressing the reset button.
It does what the manual says it should do, ie, WLAN and LAN lights go out then flicker for a bit then become still.
I try to access using 192.168.0.50 but nothing happens, my browser spins for a bit then it tells me it can't access the page.
Thing is, after a while, the lights start flickering as though there is activity.
I'm pretty sure that if it is at factory settings then it should not be doing anything until it has been set up.
It is as though the reset button is rebooting the device but not clearing the information.
The only thing I can do is see if the chap that gave me the AP still has a record of the IP and password that was assigned when he had it up and running but it was a while back so I don't hold out much hope.
I don't know if there is another way of resetting these things?
    Cheers.

EDIT: Just had a brain storm. Connected the AP and fired it up then looked on my i Phone at available networks.
There was one called 'default' which is what the AP would be called after resetting.
Turned the AP off, it was no longer available, turned it back on, 'default' returned so it is working, I just can't get in the damn thing??

    Dear Major.
    I am a complete div head! :-o
I had already read the manual but had not taken any notice of the bit you pointed out.
I sat thinking, of course the one out the loft will be easy to access, it is already set up to interact with my network ip's.
As soon as I changed the ip, subnet mask and default gateway, bingo.
    Thanks for the pointer.
