Apache? PHP? Needed? RAID? Dependencies?

    I wonder what these are...

I run Personal Software Inspector (PSI) and it tells me that these two programs need an update.

Before I get into trying to learn which update links to follow on the Apache and the PHP sites (there are choices I do not understand), I'd like to determine why I even have these.

    PSI reports:

    Apache 2.2.x
    Detected Instances:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Marvell\raid\Apache2\bin\httpd.exe, version 2.2.9
Latest Version - patching one or more vulnerabilities: 2.2.17

    PHP 5.2.x
    Detected Instances:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Marvell\raid\php5\php.exe, version 5.2.6
Latest Version - patching one or more vulnerabilities: 5.2.16

I see "raid" in the path and I know I have two 1TB drives mirroring each other in a RAID 1 configuration....and other files related to "Marvell Raid Utility."

I also see "Marvell 91xx Config Device" in Device Manager under System Devices.

Can anyone advise me why I have these?
Are they for the RAID 1?
If not, is some way to check on dependencies?

If I need them, I want to keep them updated. If I do not, I may clean them off my machine
(though they are only taking up 65 MB of my 80 GB SSD).

    I am running Win7 x64 Home Premium.

    TIA

PS - I did a search for "apache" on my system and see many results related to my Adobe CS5 Master Suite....I wonder if that's why Apache is onboard. Baffled and am sure glad you all are here!

    Here is my MoBo:

    GIGABYTE X58A-UD3R 3WAY CROSSFIRE & SLI DDR3 USB3.0 SATA3

Is that the same as "an Intel motherboard" ?

(like, would a Gigabyte board with an AMD CPU be a AMD monterboard?)

    My CPU is Intel...

    Here is the rest:
My Graphics card is: SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCIE
    OEM INTEL i7-920 2.66GHZ 8M LGA 1366
80GB Intel X25-M 2.5 inch SATA MLC Solid State Disk
    2GB DDR3 / 1600 MHZ MEMORY
XTREME GEAR HP-1216 HEATPIPE CPU FAN AM3/775/1366
    BLACK LITE-ON 24X DVDRW
    MISC NO SLI/CROSSFIRE
12-IN-ONE INTERNAL CARD READER (<--broken POS)
AZZA XTREMEGEAR 600 WATT POWER SUPPLY
NZXT INTERNAL USB 6-PORT EXPANSION MODULE
    ATI RADEON 5750 1GB DDR3
SILVERSTONE RV01B-W FULL TOWER W/WINDOW BLACK NO POWER

I have this same issue. Did you find any solution?

Apache is web server software, and PHP is (primarily) a web server scripting language.

Without investigating too deeply, I would say that these are installed to provide a web-based configuration control panel for this Marvell device.

I have had similar installations of Apache and PHP for a firewall I had installed once. I could configure the firewall using my web browser.

Seems pretty unrelated I know, but I don't think it is a serious problem so long as you take the usual security measures, especially keeping your firewall on and up to date.
