Come to Aust, and pay$5.67 per US gal., ($6.81 per UK gal.). Prices tipped to reach $2.00 per litre, ($7.57 per US gal., ($9.08 per UK gal.). We have at least three major oil-fields that I know of to share amoungst only 20 million people. Someone's making a LOT of cash, but it aint us.

I can't understand all the fuss.
I've been watching all the TV shows for the last
20 years and implementing all their fuel saving tips
and installing all the latest fuel saving devices that
are now on the market and recommended by the
experts; lo and behold,
my behemoth is now MAKING gas!!!

I'm pretty sure that the large asteroid, headed our way, will get here before either of those really get a good foothold on the earth.

 

Global Warming? They've relegated the phrase to the archaic usage bin. The big noise is now Climate Change. That's because the big noise makers, upon re-assessing the data, realized that the climate could get colder. If they pinned themselves to Global Warming, wouldn't they all look foolish if it got colder in their lifetimes? So, warmer, colder or stays the same are the choices, and the big noise makers have selected 2 of the 3 as their choices. Much better odds at being 'Right'. LOL

Soon they'll be asking for extra money - Climate Change fund. Fight them. Don't let legislators take a single penny for this. Climate Change ignores tax dollars. I currently live in a region that was covered by a continental glacier, parts of which were often 300 meters thick. It's about 44 degrees north latitude. Previous to this last Ice Age, my region was tropical with the subtropical latitudes at 60 degrees north latitude. That's up in Arctic Circle country (66 degrees). The Polar ice cap was much smaller than it is today. Yet somehow, the polar bears survived. Don't give them money for this con game - no matter how many times they tell you that your money will alleviate Climate Change, do not believe it. Fight them in the USA - you have an election looming. Force all potential legislators to reveal their position on 'taxing for Climate Change' - aka 'Carbon Footprint Tax'. If they reveal that they back such a tax, then inform the candidate that they've lost your vote. Please, we need you guys in the US to stop this lunacy before we all catch it. Don't be naive to think that Corporations will be forced to pay this tax, without worker bees paying for it. The tax will be passed along, making all you worker bees poorer.

So, take the blame for Climate Change, if you must, but just remember it's not possible to have a positive effect on the outcome of this natural planetary cycle, in your lifetime. Perhaps in 10 generations - but certainly not within this century.
