App Update Checker

I have Secunia PSI for security but use to use FileHippo app manager to keep apps updated. Recently I fined it does dot function and says it cannot download definitions. I wrote to them but have not heard.
Does it work for you - I basically use Chrome which it always worked with. I have Windows 10 x 64.
Is there a replacement if it is not functioning? I have tried about 4 but none seem to do the job as well as FileHippo did if they worked with 10 at all.

I went to an area of the thread you mention and posted my information. I cannot get FileHippo to download its definitions. I redundantly state that I use SpywareBlaster, Ad bloc Plus, Defender and MBAM with its exploit. I like FileHippo but it cannot load it own definitions from the very start.I have tried SUMo and got a lot of junk along with it hard as I tried not to. I use the lite version as Gizmo advised too. I prefer FileHippo when it is working. I will wait to see if others are halving trouble with FileHippo or if it is on my end with one of my anti malware programs.

 

Finally. I read reviews about File hippo app manger and they had the same problem downloading definitions. It has been fixed and works with Win 10 x 64.
I check my apps myself but in case I miss I use Secunia and File hippo app manager.
