Apple iPhone 4

Quick Question, can we talk about jailbreak\unlock things here?

If so then I need some help with my iPhone 4(not 4s) that I cannot unlock due to the fact that the baseband(Modem Firmware) has been updated to 04.11.08

Is there anyone here that has more info on this? And maybe could help me downgrade the iPhone if that would work.



NOTE: Jailbreaking and Unlocking is 100% legal btw..........

 

I guess the question is if it is possible to downgrade the software at all, and if that would help. I have not seen anyone talk about that as even a possibility.

I have done a fair amount of research on youtube. EverythingApplePro is the only guy I trust there, his videos in that link are super outdated.

He just posted a video yesterday saying that the unlock for my baseband was not available, but might be soon blah, blah, blah.......

He does a pretty good job of covering all the bases of what does work and even what does not. But he does not even cover this topic.

I'm assuming that once you upgrade you are stuck for life.
It seems like Apple comes out with a new update everytime the "hackers" figure out the jailbreak/unlock. So I guess we just need to not update our devices if we ever want to find something that will work......:banghead
