I wanted a system to run MS-DOS 6.22. I bought an Aptive 2176 C65. I am getting a bios error code of 2 beeps. Nothing on the screen. I looked up the 2 beeps and it said: parody error. I am trying to boot from a floppy, the hard disk seems to be bad. I don't know what BIOS this system is running. This may sound stupid, but I can't pull the memory sticks off the board. Is there a trick to removing the sticks from the board. Where can I get memory for this system? Should I just give up and try to find another system to buy?:-o

The two beeps are because during POST the computer sees the "C" drive as missing or not connected. Hard mounted memory modules? Yeah, I'd opt for a newer system.
