archive backup of doom 3 disk

    Well, I have tried several ways to do a archive backup of the new doom 3 disk #1. I used blindwrite software and hoped it would work. It didn't. I'm not trying to make copies of it, just want to protect my investment in case the master disk fails.

    Anyone have suggestions?

    ...so wish I could give you a definative reply: but I can't.
    What I have used in the past that has always worked for me is "Alcohol 120%".
    This has never let me down -but I have not tried it specifically with Doom 3.
    It has allowed me to back-up/mount all my game CDs.
    I hope this helps a bit.
