Heh, maybe this is the wrong place to be posting, but I know there are plenty intelligent people here, and maybe one can help me out.
We have a Canon Laser Class 9000L at work, and every time it picks up paper from the tray, it makes a horrible squealing sound.
I've tried replacing the toner cartridge and fuser with no noticable effect.
I'm not afraid to just open it up and have a look see, but what worries me is the down time.
I'd like to find a service manual for this thing. If anyone knows anything it sure would be appreciated if you could share that info. Thanks muchly!

Do the pages get printed ok?

Does it sound like somehting is getting jammed or scraped?

It could possibly just need a bit of oiling or something.

    Pages are printed fine.

It definitely sounds like something is scraping. Heh, I've had a gear seize on one of our copiers, and that's a pretty distinct sound. This is more like a repeated squeak, which makes me think that a wheel is scraping something as it turns.

I've oiled as many gears and wheels as I can, but it hasn't helped.
