i think your fine, unless you had any problems ingame, check your parts for dust clean them if you find any, you should be ok unless your crashing while playing.

i have a pretty large dual PCI slot exhaust fan that evidently got switched off by accident, so i turned it on.

no i had no problems, and hopefully that will help the temps, especially around the vid card since it sits right below it.

Hmm, whats those PCI slot fans like. Pretty good?
I just rather drill holes and use a fan controller. ;)

i have to be truthful. this particular fan seems to work pretty good. reason being, i have nothing but my vid card in the slots. it isnt the one slot fan, its a TWO slot fan, and has a switch for low, high, and off (which when i was driving cross country with my crap in the back of the car it must have been bumped), and although the fan isnt super crazy, it seems to exhaust just the right amount of air to at least keep it nice and cool.

that being said, the fan has two prongs to fit into the case instead of one like the other single fans, and the bridge in between wasnt enough so i had to dremel it out to get it to fit the way i like it.

the way i have my cooling setup in that corner of the case is a video card fan from 1coolpc.com (which is basically just a metal bar that attaches to the pci attachment section with a standard fan at the end), the fan and heatsink on the card, and then the dual pci blower exhausting the heat from that area. i think it must be a pretty good setup, because my temps tend to keep pretty low.

in addition, i have a stock fan on my prescott cpu, then a standard fan exhausting above the vid card to the left of the cpu, as well as the neo powersupply i have has a fan at the bottom that exhausts right onto my cpu (the back of the ps is just an open mesh grille). also i have a standard fan at the lower front of the case, as well as two hard drive cooling systems (with three tiny regular fans for each), and another standard fan on the side of the case built into the side. i have filters for everything that needs one, and i used clear shipping tape to tape up every hole in the case to keep the dust out.

i used a lot of rubber bands and twist ties to move all the cable out of the way as possible. about 90 percent of my cables are routed to the side of the metal slots for the hard drives, floppy, and cdroms, so they are out of the way of my fans, for the most part.

if anyone needs any pics or details or links for the products let me know.
