    Hi

I have two computer. The first one is connected directly to the net the second one is networked to the first.

I do all my surfing on the first computer as well as E-Mail attachments and what ever.

The second computer is my safe computer. I am careful where I go and what I run on the second computer..

I do share folders between these computers..

How safe is my second computer from if the first computer if the first computer is Hacked..

    Cheers Possum..

    Hi Possum,

Short answer? The second computer could possibly get something from the first computer since it is connected to it.

Your surfing actions will be one of the most important considerations.
Do you visit anything and everything, download from any site you visit, click open attachments from anyone?
Even with the best firwewalls and anti-virus applications, what you do will dictate if you have a good chance of surfing the internet without picking up malware.

Best defense, after your own actions, is to have layers of protection; hardware firewall, software firewall, up to date anti-virus application and anti-spyware applications.
The Malware Forum here has a excellent guide on protecting your computer.

Check it out and see if you need to do the things it suggests.

    Hope this helps.:)
