A friend of mine has a HP Pavilion dv6120la with a Turion TL-50 (Socket S1) in it and she wants to upgrade to a Turion Ultra ZM-84 (Socket S1G2) but I'm not sure if it will work or not. They have the same pinout and I would assume that it is similar to how socket AM2 and AM2+ processors are backward compatible but when she called AMD they said they didn't know. Does anyone know the answer to this?
