I had a couple of old hard drives that I recently threw away. Before I tossed them I dissembled them, scratched the disks, and folded them in half. My question is, did I forget any other areas in the computer besides the hard drive in my computer?

    Hi

No the HDDs are the main area that saves data, the RAM will offload its data a tad after shutdown or with no power to them, the BIOS doesnt hold any data thats personal in nature.

Yeah as David says the HDD is the only area that stores any personal information. What you have done will most likely be enough to stop anyone wanting to get their hands on your data.
