   I just switched over to a laptop and I used to use Ares with no problem. Now that I am using the laptop I downloaded Ares, but nothing downloads most of the time, and when something does download, it is so slow. I am on high speed cable internet, so I dont know what is wrong. Can someone help?

   Are you using WiFi or is laptop plugged in via ethernet?
   
   Disable software firewall if one is installed to check if its slowing the downloads.
