argh stupiod question but i cant remember

ok im pretty sure this is an easy thing to do but i cant remember how to do it for my life when i log into win 2000 pro at work there is a screen before you get to your desktop i know it's changeable because i did years ago but i can't remember how to change that screen's image plz help

 

are you talking about an old desktop image? I know if you've set an image as desktop and change it sometimes during boot you see the old one flash up during boot, is that it?

 

I know what you are talking about it isn't the desktop image its the boot screen.
I personally do not know how to change it but I am sure that there is someone out there on this forum that does know how to change the boot screen.

More details needed...Is it a Windows splash screen? Describe the image itself so we can picture it, and help you remove it.

no its not an old desktop image the picture im sure you've all seen on ebaums world where the cop from chips is pointing at you on his bike and below it says your still a homo (i left my log in on and someone put it there) the screen is what you see as the computer boots up befor you actually get to your desktop after youve put in your log in info i believe by default its a black screen i've gone through every display option i can think and have found no way to change it sorry if thats not that clear i dont generally think about waht i type
