Artic Silver 5 really non-Conductive?

Right so new cpu time and I have purchased a tube of Artic Silver 5, which I have never used before. I note it is sold as not Electrically Conductive
but that it is slightly capacitive. Does anyone know how 'slightly capacitive' it is. The website is not a lot of use.

What it means from what i have gatherd is; that it does not actively conduct electric. Like water for example. But it can charge with electric around it and make static. Like a balloon.

But as it is slightly capacitive and a thermal paste made for compters i would not worry.

I hoe this puts your mind at ease
    Bye mate

Certainly does. I had wondered if it was something along these lines. I am a bit wary about high silver thermal compounds after a previous one did for one of my prior cpu's. Cheers UKARMYCADET

yeah I was a little over enthusiastic with the silver compound, and kaplow one dead cpu. Nothing seeped on the board, I think it might have seeped into the cpu through the number one pin hole on the back (cant remember its name now) though this is a wild guess. I had always used a non metallic compound before and so no such problems. I am using comparatively high end (for me) machines nowerdays and I labour under the belief that the metallic compounds give a better long term performance than Arctic ceramic, etc.
