As far as I can go?

Just tried to overclock my Athlon 64 Mobile 3400+ Clawhammer by raising the FSB above the stock 200MHz. Maximum I got was 214Mhz.
I've tried lowering the HTT from 800MHZ to 600MHz and altering the divider on my RAM to run from PC400 to PC333, in the hope that it was the RAM or HTT running out of spec holding it back but these changes make no difference.
MBM5 shows the CPU temp at 31 degrees idle and 42 degrees loaded thanks to the XP-120 cooler on the chip. MBM5 also shows all power 'rails' are rock-steady (I've absolutely no troubles OCing the bejesus out of my GFX card)
I guess I'm asking if that's all I can expect out of the chip, and if so that maybe I should stop wasting time and get back to Ghost Recon .
CPU-z shows it as having a CG stepping core.

I've also tried running the RAM at CAS latencies of 2 and 2.5, but to be honest, I've never really grasped the idea of memory timings.

500W Ultra X-Connect PSU
ASUS K8V Deluxe mobo
Socket 754 Athlon 64 Mobile 3400+ Clawhammer (CG) (@ 1.5v)
Thermalright XP-120 CPU cooler with 50CFM fan.
2x512 Corsair TWINX PC400 RAM.
Gainward BLISS 7800GS+ 512Mb

An update:

I tried upping the voltage from 1.50 to 1.55 V and then went for an FSB speed of 220Mhz.

I tried running Aquamark 3 for starters, before the proper tests, and it started OK, but halway through, the resolution dropped and the display was just in green.

Got me thinking.. Does anyone think this is due to too much strain on the AGP bus?
The K8V DX mobo has no PCI/AGP lock on it - maybe that means no useful overclock.
Hopefully the 214Mhz OC won't affect my GFX card, as I really like it.
