Is there any other program that will allow you to pull down videos from internet? In particular and solely, I am looking to download news videos for my job. RealPlayer with Firefox does it but then only viewable using RealPlayer and that is something I cannot limit. I need it to be viewable on media player. Thanks.

There's a great add-on for Firefox called DownloadHelper, it puts this tricoloured icon just to the right of the URL boxand spins when a site has downloadable video. Apparently works with 100s of sites, I usually use it with YouTube. It's supposed to be here on MG's but I can't find it ATM. Ooh, they have a new release. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006

BTW, your player will have to play .flv files or at least you can convert them. Windows Media Classic plays them well or MediaMonkey. Someone will come in here with a converter recommendation if needed.
