Just noticed this amongst the user accounts called 'ASP.NET Machine A...'.
It doesn't appear on the accounts list at startup, but it is password protected in the User Accounts in Control Panel.
Can I delete it, change the password and clean it with CCleaner, or just leave it the hell alone because I haven't got a clue what to do with it?

thanks for the quick reply, but I have multiple user accounts on this machine necessary to prevent my kids downloading the whole of cyberspace everytime they sit down.

    Hi

You should in that case with multiple users, using your account as Admin go into Control Panel > User Accounts and select Manage another Account and choose the ASP.NET account and delete/remove it, but it causes no harm and can be left alone, its one of those dont fix if not broken senarios, personally I leave it alone.

I'm guessing you dont program in .NET as its needed in that case and doesnt cause harm to the PC, but info on this account and how to recreate it again if needed http://www.mvps.org/marksxp/WindowsXP/aspdot.php
