A few months ago, I downloaded and installed .NetFramework 2.0. Since it clashed with my video programs, I uninstalled it and reverted back to v 1.0. Asp.Net State Service is located in Services. It is Started and on Automatic. Should it be turned off since I no longer have .NetFramework 2.0 or is it needed by v 1.0?

Are there any other Services that I should Stop/put on Manual since I no longer have .NetFramework 2.0?

In addition, I receive updates from Microsoft for v 2.0. Who's misinformed as to the programs/services that are running in my pc? Me or Microsoft?

Also, I just ran a Trend Micro Housecall and the results returned:

It also provided this link regarding vulnerability in ASP.NET:

Since I uninstalled .NetFramework 2.0, why does Asp.Net enter the picture?

Can no one give me answers to my questions?

Since I uninstalled .NET Framework 2.0 and kept .NET Framework 1.0/1.1, can I uninstall ASP.NET and expect no repercussions since it belongs to v 2.0 and not 1.0/1.1?
