Hi. I am running a dual boot system windows 2000 (boots first) and windows ME. I am unable to log into the computer -win2000- because I now somehow have a login box and the user name that says aspnet. I have tried administrator, owner, no password everything I can think of. I have never set a user or password. I do not use net.framework. and never will but I am unable to login. I cannot get into safe mode either. I am able to change it to boot windows ME. So my question is how to fix. Would a reinstall or repair of windows 2000 fix the log in problem? If so where do I find the files that belong to windows2000 when I look in the C drive and am using windows ME? I should back up those files, Correct? I don't want to loose my picutres and stuff that is on win2000. Boy, this is awful. I have searched and searched for an answer but nothing works. Help Please:cry

can you use administrator, without any password.

also, have you tried clicking the cancel button?

I have tried all of those. When the login box opens aspnet is already in the username but I can delete that and having it empty, and both owner and administrator whith both capitoland small letters. Still nothing - It just says my credentials are wrong.
