associat .doc & .pps with email?

    Running XP & using OE6;I also use OpenOffice and have installed Microsoft .PPS/.PPT viewer

    But can't open these file types: pps ppt doc inside of my email's.

    So how can I get these associated properly.??

    So when you click on those files, do you get a window asking what program you want to open it with?

    There must be a way to do this in regedit.... or in the explorer/file types.

    What is the exact way to handle this ??

    You right click the file, select open with then press the Browse button and look for Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007.

    Alternatively, save the file to a folder and then open PowerPoint Viewer 2007 and open the file from within PowerPoint Viewer 2007.
